Returning to us today to discuss the launch of the new journal Individuation East and West are Jungian psychoanalysts Dr. Murray Stein in Zurich, Switzerland, and Professor Leslie Stein in Sydney, Australia.

Murray Stein is a Jungian psychoanalyst, author, writer, lecturer, and playwright who works as a supervising and training analyst at the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland.

He holds a Master of Divinity from Yale University and graduated as a Jungian psychoanalyst from the original C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich.

He worked as a managing editor for James Hillman's Spring Publications and later went on to co-found Chiron Publications with fellow Jungian analyst Dr. Nathan Schwartz-Selant.

He is a past president of the International Association for Analytical Psychology and has traveled and lectured for them across the globe.

Upon relocating to Switzerland, he became a training and supervising analyst for the International School of Analytical Psychology, known as ISAP Zurich, served as its president, and continues to chair its Zurich Lecture Series.

He is the author, co-author, editor, and co-editor of numerous books, articles, essays, and stage plays, all of which are listed on the special Murray Stein page in our blog.

In the present series that we're doing right now, we're exploring an essay by the noted Jungian analyst, Dr. Murray Stein.

And Murray has kindly agreed to join us for the final episode of this series.

But still today, I, I believe the goal of finding a spiritual solution remains at the heart of the 12-step journey.

But what exactly did Jung have in mind when he sent Rowland off on his spiritual quest? My question for, for this series is, can studying Jung and understanding what h-he was about help us experience a greater depth to our own recovery journey? So some years back, I read a book of essays written by a group of Jungian analysts, and they had, uh, been assembled by a noted Jungian analyst himself, Murray Stein, and there's a link to this book in the show notes.

Stein is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Chicago, also a respected analyst himself, graduate of the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland.

He has very generously agreed to join us for the final episode of this series, and I'm really looking forward to that.
