Let's head to the Wimera now and Murrawarra grain farmer, David Jahinke.

He's had as much as 86 millimetres on his farm and he's pretty happy with the way his crops are looking.

He spoke to Country Today's Emma Clark.

Murrawarra is the Aboriginal term for place with no water, but you have had a heap end of the week and over the weekend.

How much have you had?

The most we got was 86 in one of our gauges, but we did get down to 64 in another.

And to be quite honest, the last couple of years we've had has been quite challenging and quite tight.
