So tell us a little bit about you and then tell us what this company actually does.
0:51
Okay, that's amazing.
0:53
First of all, thanks for having me in the podcast.
0:55
It's really a great pleasure to be in this podcast and discussing about Storex.
1:00
So we are in Storex.
1:02
We are in a mission to provide users with the most highest privacy secure storage solution or backup solution.
1:10
So fundamentally, if you look at how the data is being stored all over the world, so we just have like three hyperscalers, main hyperscalers, who are storing the data for the entire world.

11:58
It's learning.
2:32
What is the biggest change you see in going to cloud computing from where we were before in the '90s, which was all inside of the perimeter fencing when it comes to these data structures? What is the biggest thing you see with these decentralized data structures that we have now?
2:49
I think, uh, all the data needs to be on premises, and that's when Amazon started with the cloud computing concept and that people ...
2:57
We were really, when we were talking to people, industry leaders, they were petrified they will never be migrating the data to the cloud.
3:03
That's what they said initially.
3:05
And they, they were like, "There's no way we're going to move our data back into the cloud." And that's when, uh, the cloud service providers came up and they gave that three major promise.
3:15
That's the core fundamental, what I can tell, uh, three promises were, uh, scalability, they could offer a very high level of scalability, high level of security, and cost optimization.
3:26
So basically, they're playing on these three promises and that they really played really well.
7:57
The Amazon data center was bombed, was it not?
3:21
You know, what are some of the biggest risks enterprises face when relying on centralized cloud architecture?
3:27
Okay.
3:27
So, uh, there are...
3:29
I'll, I'll put them into the three major buckets which are there.
3:32
The first one is the concentration.
3:33
Of course, as I s- as I told you when we started, we have only three hyperscalers which are controlling, uh, a- almost, like, 65% of the data around the world.
3:42
So that means if any of the, any of this goes down or any of these have problem, even in a specific zone, it would be very catastrophic, and it would create havoc in our life.

So Murphy, from your experience, what's been, like, the biggest misconception about decentralized storage?
