I saw a documentary turned out to be an Oscar winning documentary.

I just found that out when I was looking this up.

I didn't even know it won an Oscar, but it was an Oscar winning documentary about this kid named Brenton Butler.

Bretton Butler is an American man known for being wrongfully accused, beaten and falsely coerced into confessing to a 2000 year, 2000 murder in Jacksonville, Florida, when he was just 15 years old.

His harrowing case of injustice and subsequent acquittal by a jury was famously chronicled in the Academy Award winning documentary Murder on a Sunday Morning.

OK, the incident, May 7th, 2000, a tourist, Mary Ann Stevens, was robbed and shot and killed outside a Jacksonville motel in front of her husband.
