Munkustrap

In the beginning it was a ve- it was not a very sexual thing.

It was more like a, an adolescent ADHD kid who was just messing with everybody all the time, especially with Munkustrap.

Um, and, um, and then it later in, in my, in my later production of Cats, then it was, I, I felt that sexual energy more and the, the sexiness of the character, um, which also has to do with more, um, stillness and with, um, with looks and with, you know, like a, mm, especially with Bombalurina, more like a seductive, uh, energy.

And that, that has-

Yeah.

Yeah, definitely, uh, Mungojerrie has to be part of it.

Um, I, I think Munkustrap could be in the boy band too.

He would be like something like Kevin was for the Backstreet Boys.

And it happened to be Cats.

So I was in for MonkaStrap and...

This was a big audition day.

Everybody was there.

Like, did you lock onto a cat or was this a, you just want to be in the show and then you get this opportunity and you get to cover monk that you went in for, but also this crazy, fun Mungojeri story.

But what is 10-year-old you

thinking? If the 10-year-old, it would have been MonkaStrap.

MonkaStrap, okay.
