Munk Debates

We continue to read all of the time hateful statements by feminist thought leaders that would never be tolerated if they were being made by men about women.

Here in, uh, Canada, we had, um, about 10 years ago a prestigious debate series called the Munk Debates.

One of the, the subjects that was chosen for the debate was, be it resolved, men are obsolete, and a panel of two women arguing, yes, they are.

I think it was Hannah Rosen and Maureen Dowd, and then two others, two other women argued, no, they're not.

No pun intended.

But at the June 2023 Munk Debate, LeCun argued that fears of runaway AI were essentially science fiction because humans were building the systems.

We have agency.

He keeps on saying, we have agency.
