Munch Man

And then I got, I think it would have been 84, I got Munchman, the grandstands version of Pac-Man, which was Pac-Man, and it had all the pictures of Pac-Man, so it was a licensed thing, but it was licensed from Tomy, and Tomy released it in Japan as Puck-Man, which was meant to be the original name for Pac-Man, wasn't it? So he was meant to be called Pac-Man, uh, Puck-Man.

And then we called it Munch-Man over here, which makes sense because he is eating.

And it's also an onomatopoeia as well, isn't it, of Munch, which is... um which again is another play on the puck which is isn't that japanese as well for like eating like puck like paco paco or something like for the onomatopoeia for eating i talked to you because um

i'm not sure it might be slang or like a more modern phrase but i don't know my japanese is not that good
