And the type of snakes we are talking about are pretty much the most venomous snakes you can get anywhere in the world.

So we're talking firstly, the King Brown Snake.

Now, we talk about the Great Eastern Brown Snake at great lengths because that's what we get here in Southern Sydney.

But there in alice springs the king brown is a slightly longer version of the brown snake and just as venomous so it can kill up to 200 people in a single bout of venom in its own body but then also there were the black snakes so these are very venomous taipan-like snakes that you find in the center of australia in the deserts very very aggressive very very dangerous and then desert taipans themselves these are very much aggressive snakes they're not quite as venomous as brown snakes ironically they only have enough venom i believe to kill about 100 humans but honestly enough one human is enough when it comes to a snake and they're absolutely terrible and the worst part is all of these were found in the quantus loud and lounge and the areas around Alice Springs Airport over the last couple of months in this snake epidemic and honestly John at the moment the snake catchers have done their their due diligence they've cleared the Qantas lounge but they cannot guarantee that Alice Springs Airport right now isn't still overrun by snakes so honestly I mean Alice Springs is a beautiful part of the country uh and honestly Qantas is one of the airlines that we tend to fly if we go anywhere because it's so uh reliable but I I don't know if I could go to Alice Springs in Qantas Lounge right now because I know that while the snakes are clear right now, they're coming back.
