I think maybe the only artist I knew before this game would've been Coldcut, 'cause there was that one Coldcut and Hexstatic video that would always be on MTV2.

Yes.

Like, and like when I'd watch, like, MTV2 in the middle of the night-

Yeah, it was like at 2:00 in the morning.

[laughs]

I would say, you know, a song that comes out then to be in the, not the top half, but the top two-thirds of the list, I would say it's pretty damn good.

And then the magazine placed it at number 16 on its 50 greatest indie anthems ever, while MTV2 placed it at number 7 on its version of the 50 greatest indie anthems ever.

So, the song has been enjoyed.

I mean, I've liked it.

Like, Wildboyz was diminishing in popularity through time.

We, we, we got demoted to MTV2.

It was great.

And, um, we were, we were somewhere, I think we were in Louisiana, and I pulled him, I pulled Chris and Steve to the side.

I know Manson just a little bit, too.

He was very kind to me when I interviewed him back in the day on MTV2.

I am a big, big Marilyn Manson fan.

And, you know, but these albums, to me...

I got to interview him back in the day when I was on MTV2.

And most of the people I interviewed were like, because I had a band too, and most of the guys that came in were kind of like my peers, if you would.

Well, what they did is they had MTV was the flagship channel that showed all your reality shows and films and whatnot.

And they had MTV2, MTV3 or whatever.

And they were called like MTV Rock, MTV Pop, MTV Hits.

Right.

That was, that would have made it all the more special.

I remember the video from like, I think being on VH1 or MTV1, probably not even MTV2 back in the day, over and over and over and over again.

But maybe it was in my head.

Maybe it was the reason I wound up in Wisconsin as well.
