Mt. Abram Ski Area & Bike Park

So like guest speakers and demonstrations, you know, hopefully like Portland Nordic is going to be there.

Mount Abram and Black Mountain are going to do a session on like making skiing affordable for your family, which is huge.

And so I think it's going to be a great learning opportunity when people get there.

And then it's going to be a really fun opportunity to like do some holiday shopping or, you know, save

But one other thing I do think, so this goes out to all listeners and whoever, because there's a lot of meets, for example, this past week since we did our last episode.

I'm curious, like, so if you ran like William Morris won another meet up in Mount Abram, I've never been up there.

I'd be curious to just see what that course is like, you know? So if anyone is like, oh yeah, if you ever want to message the Instagram or something with the, you know, what's the Winthrop course like, or the, you know, the, there was a meet at Machias and we don't talk about a lot of these smaller schools a lot, you know, unless there's like a stud runner, but like way down East, you know, Washington Academy, Calais, stuff like that.

I've never been, I've never been past Ellsworth and MDI.

Laura Schmidt took care of business on the girls' front, clocking a nice low 18 time, 1815.99, ahead of Shevris' Allie Schmidt.

Portland won with 21 points, Shevris second at 55.

At Mount Abram, we then traveled deep into the state, where the Maine XC Index's top-rated runner in Maine, William Morris, did his thing for the win at 1625. and Madison standout Craig Payne was second at 17-20.

Karabek High School wins with 30, Dirigo High School second with 35, and Madison third with 55.
