James AyotteHOST
26:55
I don't even know.
James AyotteHOST
26:57
But yeah, genetic-wise, I think versus my other six Olympian girls... you're not up there genetically for fit model.
James AyotteHOST
27:05
I don't know how to say it.
James AyotteHOST
27:06
I know,
Victoria SchmidtGUEST
27:06
obviously not.
Victoria SchmidtGUEST
27:07
I
James AyotteHOST
27:07
think you have the least fit model genetics out of my other seven Olympians that I had are fit model, maybe.
James AyotteHOST
27:13
Just for how they lean down and all that shit.
Ashley KaltwasserHOST
10:20
It's getting more and more competitive for multiple reasons too.
Ashley KaltwasserHOST
10:23
And I was mentioning this with Adam previously, but when I first did my first few Olympias, it was like, mostly americans probably 80 to 90 percent americans and uh nowadays you look at the olympia list and i feel like we're actually outnumbered americans are actually outnumbered now um we'll we have more foreign girls i think than olympia if not it's very very close to being more or similar um but it just goes to show you like the sport has opened up worldwide So just, it gets, yeah, more competitive, more shows happening all over the world, more undiscovered talent.
Ashley KaltwasserHOST
11:01
The talent pool gets deeper and deeper every single year.
Ashley KaltwasserHOST
11:05
So definitely keeps you on your toes.
Adam BonillaHOST
11:21
I would say things really started having international impact, 2018.
Adam BonillaHOST
11:26
Now I would even really say like 2019 and then 2020 was a mess and no one could get over here.
Adam BonillaHOST
11:31
And then we really started seeing like all the, because when we started having all those amateur Olympias overseas, which was like 2018, 2019, if I remember it, where they started really opening up and adding more amateur Olympias and pro qualifiers where before you kind of, it just getting a pro card was really difficult overseas.
Adam BonillaHOST
11:47
And now it's like, oh, just do the amateur Olympia.
Jami DeBernardHOST
12:16
Right.
Jami DeBernardHOST
12:17
And especially with you being an Olympian at that level, it's just every tiny thing.
Jami DeBernardHOST
12:21
But I think it's kind of cool that you went through that phase where you had to question every little thing and figure out pieces because that now helps you have a language and know how to communicate so that if you are working with an Allison or Shelby in our training department, you can say, okay, you know, I'm feeling it this way or they're okay.
Jami DeBernardHOST
12:38
Well, let's, let's, let's shift this way or let's do this thing a little bit differently because what's interesting to me, and we see this a lot, like, and I'm sure you probably do with your athletes, they'll send training footage with no, uh, Yeah.

Greg DeBernardHOST
32:59
That's why it's so interesting to see all those names.
Greg DeBernardHOST
33:02
And, I mean, God, that was... four years ago.
Greg DeBernardHOST
33:04
I mean, so it's, it's interesting, you know, Savannah's two-time Olympian, you're Olympian.
Greg DeBernardHOST
33:09
Um, and I'm, I want that to be a two-time Olympian and three, it will be, I have no doubt.
Phoebe HaganHOST
8:34
And it's been not even four weeks post-show.
Phoebe HaganHOST
8:38
Yeah, post-Olympia.
Corey LindnerHOST
8:39
Yeah, yeah.
Phoebe HaganHOST
8:41
And then there's obviously one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
Corey LindnerHOST
8:52
Yes, the double stars have one win.
Corey LindnerHOST
8:53
Yeah.
Corey LindnerHOST
8:54
And if you take them, the single stars are obviously Miss Olympia's.
Phoebe HaganHOST
8:57
11, 12.
Amy EhingerHOST
17:36
Didn't she do 10 pro shows before she got Olympia qualified? And then, I mean, she got top five, but that's quite the, and a lot of them, you know, they could, you know, it's so up and down getting like second call outs or, you know, outside of it was so random.
Amy EhingerHOST
17:54
And then, yeah, they end up placing top five and at the Olympics, they're judged against, you know, the standard for the world now.
Amy EhingerHOST
18:04
I wanted to ask you about just like the financial side of because I think people would be interested in that, especially people that don't know the sport.
Amy EhingerHOST
18:12
I have so many people that are like, why do you want to turn pro? Like, what's the reason? And it's a hard question to ask, or I guess to answer for somebody that knows nothing about bodybuilding, but like on a financial side of things, like when it comes to, you know, like that, if we're talking about somebody that doesn't know anything about bodybuilding and they hear, okay, you're a pro athlete.
Ron PartlowHOST
3:03
I gotta, uh, we gotta congratulate you.
Ron PartlowHOST
3:05
Didn't things go kinda well at the Olympia?
Meg MorrisonGUEST
3:08
Eh, I did all right, I guess.
Ron PartlowHOST
3:10
Yeah.
Ron PartlowHOST
5:03
Hmm
Meg MorrisonGUEST
5:03
... of that too, 'cause, like, training legs four days a week, apparently I can't do that.
Meg MorrisonGUEST
5:09
Um, and then last January, we switched to WPD, and I started training upper body again, and I ended up placing eighth at the Olympia.
Meg MorrisonGUEST
5:21
And then I went back this year to Atlanta Pro, improved, listened to the judge's feedback, and they said I'm still women's physique, but I have to, like, knock my training down in half if I wanna stay there.
Loz VickersHOST
45:05
In my opinion, you can still achieve bikini and figure level of muscularity naturally if obviously you've got good genetics you might get there faster but for most you have the structure and the potential it might just take a really long time to get there naturally you know if you're not doing it naturally you might get there in a few years if you're doing it naturally it might take you 10 to 15 years to get there right it's the the reality there um but i think that when you look at the fit model division there it kind of makes makes sense um because it's it's more applicable to those individuals who do want to still compete and carry good amount of muscle, but they don't maybe want to get as lean or they also don't want to take PDs.
Loz VickersHOST
45:52
I think that there's like this weird debate with it because it's kind of like, well, is it still bodybuilding? Because like how entry level should we make bodybuilding? But I think that when you look at, like when you look at fit model at the Olympia this last year, it looks to me like what bikini looks like in like 2015, which is wild by the way, because I watched back some of the old Olympias.
Loz VickersHOST
46:19
And like, I remember because I started watching the Olympia like 2016, like 2017 when I was getting into training and like, those bikini girls, I was like, oh my God, they look amazing.
Loz VickersHOST
46:26
And like, it's crazy because they do still look amazing, but you look back at them now and like you compare them to now's bikini girls.
Phoebe HaganGUEST
9:07
Like, I want to get the title.
Phoebe HaganGUEST
9:08
And there's also multiple Miss Olympias that are also competing, like...
Phoebe HaganGUEST
9:13
So they're also reigning champions.
Phoebe HaganGUEST
9:15
So this is, I love it because it's the most competitive bikinis ever been.
Kareen HaddadHOST
1:14
around.
Kareen HaddadHOST
1:14
Everyone knows now, I suppose, that we have just qualified for the Olympiad.
Tim McKinnonHOST
1:24
Ridiculous, man.
Tim McKinnonHOST
1:25
Yeah.
Kareen HaddadHOST
1:40
have
Tim McKinnonHOST
1:40
qualified for the
Kareen HaddadHOST
1:42
Olympia, which is crazy.
Kareen HaddadHOST
1:46
Absolutely crazy.
Kassie EnriquezGUEST
12:50
Yeah.
Celeste Rains-TurkHOST
12:52
She and Shay, who just won the Olympia, like so comparable in when it comes to the physique itself and the look that, and it's so amazing to me because that journey in 2015, 2016 bikini, it was so highlighted, so celebrated.
Celeste Rains-TurkHOST
13:10
Like these women are working hard.
Celeste Rains-TurkHOST
13:12
Like bikini has grown so much, but then fit model comes along and they're like, this is a small

Kassie EnriquezGUEST
60:35
So really just being intentional with this next, like growth phase, and we're still kind of reversing and things like that getting into a good spot.
Kassie EnriquezGUEST
60:47
So health such growth right now, and then We don't necessarily have any set plans for next year, but I definitely do have my eyes on next year for sure.
Kassie EnriquezGUEST
60:57
Being able to hopefully just put forth an even better package and fingers crossed qualify for the Olympia.
Kassie EnriquezGUEST
61:06
that that's the next thing that I'm, it's on my vision board.
