Earlier this month, a new program on The Criterion Channel launched, collecting many of the films from filmmaker Abel Ferrara, the man who made King of New York, Bad Lieutenant, Ms. 45, and many other classics.

I helped curate that package.

There's an intro on the channel that features me talking about Ferrara's body of work and why it matters.

And he's one of the rare people of, like, one of my favorite directors who I got into, like, as an adult.

Like, most of the stuff that really I'm passionate about, you know, it was like you're 15, 16, 17, and you, you rented that thing and it changed your life.

This is like when Drafthouse Films put out Ms. 45, um, more than 10 years ago.
