Mr Motivator

And that should be Joey's calling card.

Like he's he's Mr. Motivator.

He's a player's coach.

You should see a bunch of guys running around like banshees that look like their hair's on fire and they want to run through a brick wall for him.

I didn't have a hall, but I went to Neasden, found a church hall, set up my classes, learned what they were doing, and very quickly I got rid of them.

Word started spreading about Mr. Motivator's classes.

I was having classes in Mill Hill where 125 people would turn up regularly, twice a week, right? Men and women, we'd do tough, we'd be doing an hour and a half classes, right, kick their butt, that spread.

Before I knew it, the British Heart Foundation said to me, would I like to go around the country teaching people about the importance of exercise? So I said, yes, they created these posters with exercise for life with Derek Evans, right? So I started going around the country teaching people Only what I'd learned, right, by researching.

Because if you get the right music, people are tapping their feet and they'll realize they're buying into exactly what you want them to buy into.

So I incorporated all that.

And the image of Mr. Motivator, the name came about purely because I did a slot on this morning and Judy Finnegan, who was a presenter, I heard her say in my ear, let's go over to the man who motivates everybody.

And that straight away made me think, Mr. Motivator.

Like, I remember my mum doing these kind of videos.

I remember a guy called Mr Motivator being on the TV.

I remember, like, everything to do with, like, Jane Fonda.

It was a crazy, crazy time.

They had Llamas as well.

Celebrity-wise, they had Mr. Motivator there when I was there.

Of course they did.

They had Anton Debeck.

I didn't go just to see her, but she was on one of the nostalgia stages.

And on the way down, I realized I didn't know any of the bands outside of Bonnie Tyler and Mr. Motivator, who was also there that day.

Not so much that, but th- them other ones, the, all the women, they'd all be in a room together, and they'd all be doing together.

Then you'd be watching on TV doing it.
