Like, why would you? Yeah, I mean, I don't even think this guy meets Mr.

Lipman, does he? I know George does because he gets that job, but.

Yeah, I don't think so.

Well, Elaine tells him that she's had enough and she's marching in.

I'm William Moore, The Spectator's features editor, and the latest edition of the magazine has just gone to print.

To talk about what's in it, I'm delighted to be joined by our political editor, Tim Shipman, our commissioning editor, and writer-at-large, Talley Fraser, and the actress, Maureen Lipman.

Our cover piece this week is The West Must Win, and in it, Matthias Döpfner argues that the West must rediscover its confidence to defend against its enemies.

So Tim, never let it be said that on this podcast or in the magazine, we don't go for the big topics, because there's nothing [laughs] bigger perhaps than saving the West.

There is a reason for them to be outside.

[laughs] There is no Judaism in it, unless you count me, and I'm not Jewish in the play.

And outside, they're handing out leaflets saying, "Maureen Lipman supports genocide." Well, my bel- particular belief, and the, uh, the belief of those who know is it's not a genocide.

If it, if we were that, uh, clever to try to do a genocide, we would do it better than having 175,000 Palestinians grow to 2 million.
