Mowing-Devil

This brings up a question.

If humans created the majority of crop circles, does that mean we explained the source of all of them? Is it possible that something else may be coming into play? When most people talk about crop circles, they often reference a tale called The Mowing Devil or The Strange News Out of Hertfordshire.

This is the title of an English woodcut pamphlet that was published in 1678.

It tells the story of an unnamed farmer in Hertfordshire, England, who needed someone to cut his field of oats.

They had watched the object descend towards the ground and move across a field before a formation occurred.

Occasionally, someone alleges that they had watched a crop circle form.

One example that believers use is the 1678 Mowing Devil tale that we talked about earlier in this episode.
