Mount Saint Joseph High School

And I want to share a little bit about the young man whose life it honors.

Nick was a student at Mount St. Joseph High School.

His family describes him as fun-loving, deeply talented, with a contagious sense of humor and a deep devotion to his family.

In June of 1997, one year before Nick was supposed to graduate, he was killed in a tragic truck accident.

He texted the picture to me, and then also a picture of his license, which I didn't ask for, and I'm still not sure he was supposed to send.

Jonathan Xavier Downs, the fourth, 31 years old, an address in West Baltimore out by Mount St. Joe's.

Then he told me if I wanted to press charges, I'd have to go down to the district station and fill out the paperwork myself.

I asked why they weren't just arresting him.
