Those human remains, uh, have now been removed and are on their way to the Center of Forensic Sciences, where a forensic identification examination will be conducted.

And we are hopeful that those are, in fact, the remains of Victoria Stafford.

Wellington County OPP are investigating following a recent break and enter theft at a commercial property in Mount Forest that saw thousands of dollars in wire and tools taken.

According to police, on August 18th at 9 a.m., officers were called about a theft that had occurred at a commercial property on Industrial Drive in Mount Forest.

Police believe that during the night of August 17th, one or more suspects came onto the property, broke into a vehicle and stole thousands of dollars in tools and copper cable.

The investigation remains ongoing.
