Matthew PapeGUEST
11:43
And there are bigger teams which have more equipment, like Michael's team, Mini Max, they're obviously based at Knock Hill in the garages, so they have everything.
Matthew PapeGUEST
11:51
Some of the bigger teams, like Clout Motorsport, when they were there, they have all the tools and things like that.
Matthew PapeGUEST
11:55
So you know who to go to, and the Atkinsons, or even Smart, with Max and Ben, they always had... good tools and good people with them.
Matthew PapeGUEST
12:03
So you know where to go and ask.

Matthew PapeGUEST

And if you had a crash, you were paying a lot for repairs because it's someone else's car and things like that.
Matthew PapeGUEST
31:25
So, yeah, 2006.
Matthew PapeGUEST
31:28
Got my own car from Smart Motorsport, Martin Davey, right down London way.
Matthew PapeGUEST
31:33
And then, yeah, that was the way it really started.

Sammy SmithGUEST
14:24
As you know, this racing sport is all about what have you done for me lately.
Sammy SmithGUEST
14:28
It has been kind of challenging up and down the last three years for me at Junior Motorsports.
Sammy SmithGUEST
14:34
I have really enjoyed my time there and have grown a lot of great friendships and have been able to win a couple races, but it hasn't been maybe that kickoff year that maybe I expected going to JRM.
Sammy SmithGUEST
14:47
Obviously, when I found out in May that I probably wasn't returning to Junior Motorsports, I really had to assess all my options and really figure out you know, what was kind of the best option for me.
Sammy SmithGUEST
14:59
And, um, you know, really a month ago, I wasn't sure if I was going to be racing or not, to be honest with you.
Sammy SmithGUEST
15:03
And, and, um, you know, the Tricon deal came about.
Danny O'DwyerHOST
37:26
Weber, maybe? I forget.
Drew ScanlonHOST
37:28
Yeah, here's from Motorsport.
Drew ScanlonHOST
37:30
moto gp riders consider legal action as qatar grand prix concerns grow so the complete and listen i think someone pointed this out in our discord when moto gp riders think something is too dangerous listen
Danny O'DwyerHOST
37:44
yeah exactly they don't suffer fools those bike riding maniacs um they're like the only person who can be put myself in danger is me thank you very much um Yeah.
KathrynHOST
7:06
They have been the leading team and they finally decided to shuffle things around and put some of the strongest drivers on teams that aren't Prima Racing.
KathrynHOST
7:14
So the current battle that we will see for the Constructors title is going to be between Compost Racing and MP Motorsport.
KathrynHOST
7:20
They currently have 44 points between them going into the final weekend in Las Vegas and are, like I said, looking to be the first non-Prima Championship contender.
KathrynHOST
7:29
To keep an eye out, the compost drivers are Alicia Pomalski, Raffaella Ferreira, who's driving in the racing bulls.
KathrynHOST
7:36
She actually started on pole for the reverse grid race and then got tangled a little bit and was fourth way down the points because she had some damage to her car.
KathrynHOST
7:44
And Megan Bruce, who's one of the rookies this year.
KathrynHOST
7:47
While MP Motorsport is Nina Gabeman, Alba Larson, who are currently on a tear, and Esme Kosterman, as I mentioned, in the Lego car.
KathrynHOST
7:54
So those are the two teams that are going to be fighting for the most four points.
Nathan SneydHOST
23:05
where Sturtees took the driver's crown.
Nathan SneydHOST
23:07
Ferrari also won the Constructors title and Motorsport gained its unique double champion.
Nathan SneydHOST
23:14
I haven't got what was on two wheels, whether it was Superbikes or what it is.
Nathan SneydHOST
23:20
I have to have a look at that.
Melissa MyersGUEST
48:54
So we're going to have that on all of our social media.
Melissa MyersGUEST
48:57
Motorsports Collective, it's in Jenks, is where it's going to be.
Melissa MyersGUEST
49:02
And I got notification Mike Mazey is also going to have a watch party as well.
Melissa MyersGUEST
49:08
So I'm probably going to be in between both.
Melissa MyersGUEST
51:50
He really wants to focus in on plumbers, HVAC, welding, you know, things like that.
David VannHOST
51:56
I've got to do a little hustle.
David VannHOST
51:58
You said Motorsports Collective.
David VannHOST
52:01
Yes.
Max TeichertGUEST
0:06
But I think there's a lot of people out there still missing out on it because they think they don't have the talent, but they might.
Max TeichertGUEST
0:10
Motorsport is still completely fucked to this day in terms of accessibility.
Max TeichertGUEST
0:14
Yeah.
Max TeichertGUEST
0:14
Can I swear, by the way? Oh, you've done it three times already.

26 MINS LATER

JohnHOST
26:01
But yeah, was it difficult, that transition? from being involved in those competitions and sort of being the one coached to now being the one coaching.
JohnHOST
26:12
How was that transition?
Max TeichertGUEST
26:13
I mean, I luckily got the job through an internship at Porsche Motorsport back then, actually.
Max TeichertGUEST
26:18
So this is not a job that has, you know, like the application form on a website sort of thing.

And remember, without you, none of this would be possible.
Roger GriffithsGUEST
36:57
There was a lot of concerned people over what this truly meant.
Roger GriffithsGUEST
37:02
You know, if it ultimately ends up being a customer team with a Porsche powertrain, a little bit like the Fortescue team with the Jaguar powertrain, I think that's a lot simpler thing for all of us to live with because if it was a second team, you know, within the four walls of Porsche Motorsport, that becomes a very difficult thing for us to understand, particularly when you start looking at cost cap and things like that.
Roger GriffithsGUEST
37:28
So that's super tricky.
Roger GriffithsGUEST
37:31
So this is something that I think would be a lot more acceptable by the rest of the paddock.
