So if you're a fan, would you rather watch the race in Columbus on Peacock this Saturday or Ironman was the last race of the year, watch Motocross Nations in a few weeks and be done? Of course, they're going to prefer something over nothing.
J
11:06Jason WeigandtHOST
Riders and teams, they got a bigger bill to pay to go watch this stuff than just five bucks a month on Peacock.

It has been.
J
13:18Jason ThomasHOST
And I remember that 2021 championship, you know, we were in Mantua and it was kind of in the midst right before motocross of nations, you know, a lot of different dynamics at play at that time.
J
13:29Jason ThomasHOST
But I very much remember being there and knowing it was kind of Jeffrey Hurling's world for MXGP and we were all kind of living in it.
J
13:38Jason ThomasHOST
Feels that way again.

Just depends who it's going to be.
P
39:22Paul MalinHOST
Is it going to be a tribe or is it going to be a KTM rider? Because they're realistically the three or four, if you count Simon Langenfelder.
P
39:28Paul MalinHOST
So, yeah, there'll be a bit to talk to, I imagine, after that as we prepare to sort of ramp up for the Motocross of Nations as well.
P
39:34Paul MalinHOST
So, yeah, once again, thanks to JT.

I actually don't even really know who to talk to to get this, but I did talk a little bit more about the KTM going over to priority, and that definitely seems like it's going out of the way.
R

There were some conversations at Ironman about that.
R

They're just kind of waiting to... finalize a few things and now this is again put i put a little bit more on the back burner now the priority is sending tanner over to mx of nations so this might not happen again for a while but in saying that both quinn and tanner have a deal uh moving into next year newf cole pranger out in out or in

Mm-hmm.
M
18:34Michael LindsayHOST
Yeah, exactly, and I mean the fact that he did ultimately back it up with one at Yamaha, and yes, it's still, when you look at his career totals, 450 Supercross title specifically, maybe isn't as high as it could have been and should have been, but everything else he kind of accomplished towards the end, again, more with Pro Motocross, Motocross of Nations, another Supercross Yamaha, all those, yeah, kind of just makes you forget, because again, you say that right now, and It's hard to remember that he holds.
M
19:05Michael LindsayHOST
Is he tied for the record of most wins for a season for not winning a title? Is that the one, I guess you would say, bad statistic he holds? I
L
19:13Lewis PhillipsHOST
don't know.

L

arguably even better just lacking the title that to me made a bigger impact than the cowie period perhaps because i put more value on supercross when i do outdoors also but what stands out to you
M
33:55Michael LindsayHOST
um i agree with you and then a little bit of split it is weird to say is the cowie generation even though it holds the most titles correct because of the outdoors training plus for you.
M
34:10Michael LindsayHOST
I agree that 22, 23 Yamaha will by far be burnt into my mind, especially being an American, being at 22 motocross of nations, being literally there as part of the celebrations on his bike at one point, all that like that is ingrained in my mind and will be forever.
M
34:26Michael LindsayHOST
Um, the, the, the guy, the late Geico era and the first Honda 450 era is second to that, um, over the Cowie period, just because of course the anomaly, um, that was the, was it 16? What was the 450 year that he almost basically beat Dungy by a man of hang time? Was that 16? 15.
