Section one, Space, Time, and Movement.

The new theory of Einstein, which is known as the general principle of relativity, is perfectly simple when once it is understood, and peculiarly difficult to understand.

This arises from the fact that the human mind, in its ordinary attitude of reflection, and particularly in its well-balanced moods, subject to reason and superior to emotion, is always ready to revise its conclusions.

Aristotle, in the Physics, says that the Zeno committed a fallacy when he argued, If everything in order to be must, whether moving or at rest, occupied an equal space, and if a body when displaced occupies at every moment an equal space, then it follows that the flying arrow is immobile.

And to this they gave the body to be a vehicle, and the members to be instruments having the power of flexion and extension.

And this is a hormone-focused bone series.

We need to connect movement back to endocrine physiology.

Movement influences insulin sensitivity.

It supports glucose uptake.

It can also improve inflammatory tone.

And it can support sleep and stress reduction.

So these are really important things that we need to look at.

Movement helps preserve muscle, which helps testosterone and growth supportive signals.

Lee Armstrong is a puppeteer, producer, and the co-owner of Images in Motion, a company that specializes in TV production, puppets, and 3D printing.

Lee worked as a puppeteer on three seasons of Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock and her other screen puppetry credits include Being John Malkovich, Follow That Bird, and Mustard Pancakes.

She won a regional Emmy for her special Land of Eye, and as a lifelong teacher, Lee has taught puppetry to thousands, as well as teaching the course Jim Henson and the Art of the Muppets at the University of California at Santa Cruz.

But the production got done, and it won a regional Emmy, which was wonderful.

So that was our first experience with a big shoot, and we really enjoyed it.

Winning that regional Emmy so early in the company's career, in Images & Motion's career, what did it mean to get that recognition so soon after forming the company?

Oh, it was great.

And then the next year, I edited up a demo reel.

So Monica is, I found her through Gary Ward, who some people might be familiar with.

And Gary Ward founded what's called Anatomy in Motion.

And basically it's about how posture from your foot up and your foot posture dictates, predicts, informs the rest of how your body is moving.

And I had gotten into Gary Ward quite some time ago, not months, but years ago.

But I knew there was hope if I could just figure out how is a body supposed to move.

Movement got me into this mess, so surely learning how to move better will get me out of this, and throughout that journey I discovered different things.

Some worked better than others, but the thing that really moved the needle forward for me was Gary Ward's work, Anatomy in Motion, because it gave me the map of how the whole body is ideally built to move for the most fundamental thing possible, which is walking, which is what I wanted to be able to do.

So here I am today.

I think like even though I'm capturing a still image, motion is still conveyed even if it's frozen in time.
