It's like the beginning is Adam and Eve.

The Javier Bardem is God.

Jennifer Lawrence is Mother Earth.

And you get all sorts of different biblical stories, pieces of it all the way through it.

A- if you've seen Mother, there is a scene that that scene in SGU reminded me of, so anyway.

Oh.

And yet there is this unnameable something that I just can't put my finger on that stops it from being a number one.

And there is no other film that I've ever come across that I've ever seen that has this effect on me the way that Mother does.

I just can't reason with it as to why it's not just the best thing I've ever seen.

Because when you take it apart and put it back together, yeah, it should be.

The acting is utterly captivating and the way this film looks just pops off the screen directly into my nugget.

I mean, Darren Aronofsky is an utter lunatic.
