T
7:12Travis JenkinsGUEST
This was back in the days before people were holding up cell phones at concerts.
T
7:15Travis JenkinsGUEST
The kids were just going ballistic, rocking out.
A
10:35Adam CarrikerHOST

A
10:38Adam CarrikerHOST
So it's funny.
A
10:38Adam CarrikerHOST
Whenever there's a rap concert, I'll be honest with you, I knew it wouldn't be a crazy difficult night because people don't get as into it as the mosh pits.
A
10:46Adam CarrikerHOST
The mosh pits is when you're literally saving people's lives.

Oh, Mosh Pits, brutal music, absolutely insane and having fun.
K
10:55KevinHOST
But I understand what you're saying when it comes to playing the new album and having to focus on the live setting going through the entire thing.
K
11:01KevinHOST
And it's very similar to a conversation I recently had with Dustin from the legendary metalcore band Walls of Jericho when it talked about the live setting.

well folks my interview with alan from distant now separate kevin's final thought so you guys know me i love the live scene you know i love being in shows and i love going into those mosh pits as well and never leaving i love the fact that it's being present in the show you're being present in the moment and you're not stuck and glued to your phone because too many times people are and too many times in life everybody else is now When we were talking about this and the band had released more than half the album, I'll admit, I thought it was okay.

Yeah.
J
19:24Josh AndujoGUEST
It's not a place where you're there to fight with somebody and all that stuff.
J
19:29Josh AndujoGUEST
Cause if things do break out, everybody's there to stop it, calm it down.
J
19:33Josh AndujoGUEST
But for the hardcore shows, when I see people like, throwing kicks and punches at people that are standing there that's a little too harsh for me that I that I can't do but other than that uh regular mosh pits are pretty fun everyone should experience it once in their life
K
19:51Kristy MartinezHOST
yeah I went to like well I think I talked about this in another interview or that maybe it was with the emo work that I did but we did touch on hardcore and like I went to like a warehouse show and it was I think it was um forget who played but it's like the the hardcore right like um and they're doing yeah like the what is it the windmill and all that type of stuff yeah body slamming and it was like i mean you're even if you're stepped back and you're like just in the audience um you get like uh you get a yeah some of that you know you don't mean to but like it's intense like that's why i was like whoa like it just was But the feeling was nothing that I've ever experienced because it's very different.

Because those were the singles.
I
89:13IsaiHOST
