Moscow mule

I love a canned drink for the convenience of it.

And I'll sometimes get a canned Moscow Mule.

But I always think they taste not as good as a fresh one at a bar.

All right, we are hitting that holiday period when you might be having people over.

like, come downstairs and meet me in the hotel lobby at 2 in the afternoon.

Let's get a Moscow Mule.

She'll be like, okay.

And then she'll say she'll be there in 20 minutes, and then two hours later, guess who's sitting alone drinking a Moscow Mule? Chelsea.

I get there.

I think people just realize that when I say I'm making cocktails, it's more than likely going to be like a Manhattan or something like that, right? It's not like I'm busting out...

G and T's or Moscow mules or lemon, lemon, no lemon drops.

Right.

So, so I realized that when I say I'm making cocktails, it's like, okay, it's going to be like one or two things.

Y'all, I've

been on them Moscow mules heavy.

I like

ginger beer.

It's a Mexican mule.

I don't like that one.

I like the regular Moscow mule.

I mean my jump, not my phone curse.

Like, I know you try to heal, but is that judgment in your face? that ain't judgment but you know what honestly I see how vodka got involved because humans will take something healthy and say you know what will make this better alcohol liquor we are consistent with that like if we don't do nothing else we go add the lint Now today, vodka is absolutely everywhere.

Vodka soda, Moscow Mule, Cosmopolitan, Espresso Martinis, Bloody Marys, somebody auntie's freezer.

Baby vodka stays booked and very busy.

But in the early 20th century, vodka was still much more associated with Russia and Eastern Europe.

Girl's trip, she's good.

Airport bar at 7.15 in the morning? Apparently, she's also good.

And by the middle of the 20th century, vodka was booming in the U.S. And drinks like the Bloody Mary and the Moscow Mule helped that happen.

So, Mary just wasn't sitting there brunch.
