I mean, look, if we got-- If we were able to do MERS, right, which was an industry consortium, um, then we can do this.

It would be matter of, uh, the simplest way, I think would we do it, to do it, would be for MERS to, to ma- to, to move on to blockchain and put in the protocols for, for all, for all these consumer transactions to be on the MERS platform.

That would be the ideal, and then that would put a pressure on, on the counties to move on to that, right? Because it'll save them money, you know.

This, uh, this database did not exist in 2008, but we are fortunate in that it exists now, and it's called the Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, or MERS, um, and it's, uh, mers-service rid.org. And we'll put that link in the description.

But that is, you put your Social Security number in, and it finds any mortgage registered to that Social Security number and the bank that holds it.

So if you're not receiving documents or you've misplaced them, you do- you just don't know where your mortgage is, that is where you would go to find it.

Don't sugarcoat it.

Uh, don't say it's more dire than it is, because you're gonna have to submit, you know, proof of stuff.

Um, and so you can find the number for your mortgage servicer on your monthly mortgage statement, or again, once you find it out, um, on the MERS database, you can look it up.
