But midwifery is really, really open to the circle of life and death.

So that's why now, today, I'm in Puerto Vallarta at the house of a beautiful friend, Paulina, but also like planning the next trips to continue sharing about the Reboso, the Placenta, and all the wisdom and knowledge from the Abuelas and also always honoring them because thanks of their wisdom, we continue preserving these sacred traditions and how like being a midwife, being Mexican, It's so beautiful for me because I was born and raised in Moroleón, Guanajuato.

And Moroleón, Guanajuato is one of the most important places of the Reboso in Mexico.

So that's something really magical for me because when I was a teenager, I was like, oh my God, the Rebosos, the Abuelas, you know? Like the old-fashioned things.

And when I started with the midwifery, I was like, oh my God, I was born in the place, in the nest of the Rebosos, and how now is my passion and my passion duty to go everywhere and to teach how to use the Reboso.
