I didn't live in England.

My mother's other sister, Aunt Velma, she lived in Morecambe, England at the time.

So we went down there to spend two summers.

One summer when we went down there, I was 12.

Yeah.

So we, you know, my mum had a caravan in Morecambe.

Oh, cool.

Yeah.

And what a fantastic time to be chatting to my guest today, who has been making the news internationally in the wrestling world over the past few days, mainly as a trainer, a trainer of the man who's just won the AEW title at Wembley Stadium, becoming the first Englishman to do that, winning a world championship on British soil, Will Ospreay.

And this gentleman was very much part of his journey.

It was, well... we saw it on on youtube on tv on the big screen at wembley stadium we'll talk a bit about that but uh for 25 years this gentleman has had a pioneering career in british wrestling he's been around some of the major promotions some of the major moments in british wrestling over that time And we're going to reminisce a little bit about his time doing that and also in Morecambe when he was known as the Pucker One.

Years before The Only Way Is Essex, this man made Essex mainstream in wrestling.

And

They've never even turned up to a game.

I know people at Morecambe, the new owners, not doing great things.

So you're absolutely right to be cautious.

and developed a reputation for being a man with a microphone with something to say about the fake virus, the fake pandemic.

And then found myself on a promenade in Morecambe, sort of on the coast of Lancashire.

I saw half of the Real Madrid game and switched over to Man City and then watched Liverpool last night and a bit of Arsenal.

Yeah, I didn't watch any of Tuesday because I was at Morecambe, but I did watch Liverpool last night.

And then I watched the highlights this morning.
