All right, our fourth and final finalist then for best new product or innovation is LD Bagpipes and their Mopane pipes.

Now, have you seen these? Have you seen these pipes? Rory Black plays a set of them in St.

He actually had a set with him, and he was playing them, and I quizzed him all about them.

I said, "What are these?" If you haven't seen them yet, I don't know where you've been.

They've been the kind of the talk of the scene, these Mopane pipes, the richness and the tone that you can get from these, and they just look beautiful.

Yeah, they do look odd, okay? When you're standing in a full band full of Blackwood and ebony pipes, and you're standing there with a set of Mopanes, they, they do absolutely stand out.

It's ...

And, and what also makes it, um, um, difficult in an area like Letaba, um, these days it's a Mopanie felt.

And what we are seeing in, in the, uh, types of animals that we identify and the types of plants that we're also starting to identify, that that environment has changed over time.

And the difficulty is when you are there, um, in the here and now, m- it's hard, uh, not to think of that environment as having been the way it was in the past, and to try and imagine it in a different kind of way.

Completely different habitat.

Mopani woodlands and floodplains.

And then finally I'd end along the mighty Zambezi at Lolobezi.

You know, completely different again.
