the Gold Murray Golf Association, back in a fortnight on the 19th of September.

We're doing the Apprenticeship Factory Kyber and District League grand final day live from Mooroopna from, I think at this stage, it's nine o'clock.

Traditionally, we do start it at nine o'clock.

We might be doing the under 15s, could be starting a little earlier than that.

up to $5,000 in prizes.

And we've got Ford's buses that are running free buses for us from Tatura, Mooroopna, Shepparton, over there and back.

So I think that's a great reason why people have jumped on it.

But the main thing is if anybody out there would love to do something for the Royal Children's Hospital, You've got a paddock of sheep.

Week two of the final series, Tim Jacobson joins us in the studio, as does the stats man who just continues to roll on your Super Saturday.

Massive day for the Mooroopna Footy Club and an even, well, some might consider bigger one for Kingupna, who have an opportunity today.

How's your week been?

Thank you very much for the kind words.

Look, it's a great time of year, isn't it, to be playing footy.

The conditions at Mooroopna this week were fabulous.

Tuesday, Thursday, lovely clear nights, no wind.

You can find a club and there are a lot of clubs around this area.

There's Yarrawonga, Cobram, Numurka, Shepparton, Mooroopna.

Two in Echuca, I think, and Rich River.

Yeah, so there's lots of clubs around and look for your club and find a contact person just to let them know you're coming.

But, you know, over the years, and we're talking, you know, over, you know, let's just say 30, 40, 50 years, any development that has been undertaken that has probably been close to the river has effectively had commercial development turn its back, uh, on the river.

So we've got an unbelievable asset, the Goulburn River, that runs right through the middle of Shepparton and Mooroopna and effectively Greater Shepparton.

And what we've probably seen is that over a period of time, that any investment that's taken place, commercial or anything that, um, you know, i- is about attracting people to our region and, and connecting them to the wonderful things that we've got, uh, we've turned our back on it.

Uh, so what we wanna do with this particular strategy that's gonna be underway now, and we've endorsed this step, is how do we connect our CBD, Vic Park Lake, and the Goulburn River better? How do, how do we connect people? So whether that's people living and, and calling Greater Shepparton home or, or tourism offerings, how do we make sure that when they come to our region, they can connect, uh, to these particular landmarks in, in a way that pal- possibly hasn't been done in the past? And, and can we entice, uh, other forms of investment along the Goulburn River or in and around Vi- Vic Park Lake and the CBD? So this is a really key component of council's plan that, uh, council's endorsed, uh, last year to obviously undertake and, and determine a future of, you know, effectively, you know, starting to turn our face towards the river and, and also, uh, Vic Park Lake and the CBD.

Well, good luck, uh, for all involved.
