Moonstone

So exploring, yes, I love to care for my family, but sometimes just allowing yourself to get some love and care back is not all on you.

So the crystal for Cancer Moon is Moonstone, needless to say.

Moonstone aptly named because its energetics just line so beautifully with the feminine lines of the moon.

And Moonstone is all about cycles, emotional awareness, intuition, yin energy, sensitive energy.

And for those of you that think, you know what, I really like the sound of this cancer energy.

I'm not a cancer moon.

Yeah, get a Swarovski Minion.

I can give you some either Moonstone, Onyx, Amber, or Amethyst, Jade, Pearl, but they'd all be worth 100 gold piece.

Whatever is most

shadowy, I feel like that's where I- Oh, Onyx for sure.

Jewelry's always worth more for what it means than what it is, and that's a fact.

[bright music] Moonstone is a type of feldspar, right?

Mm-hmm.

And the distinguishing feature of it is that it has adularescence, which is the gem phenomenon where the, the, it looks like a cloud is billowing across the surface of the stone.

They're, they're usually cabochon cut.

So there's a few words there that I mentioned that I'd just like to give a bit more depth to.

So feldspar, moonstone is a type of feldspar, but there's other types, right? Moonstone is a alkali feldspar, but there's also a plagioclase feldspar, and they're two different types.

They're very similar crystal structures.

But every sign in the wheel deserves a portrait of its own, so this series takes them one at a time in the order of the year.

Noctra, the Moonstone sign, holds the season from March third through March twenty-third, twenty-one days of the year.

So today, one sign in full.

Here is Violetta with the Noctra portrait.

Thank you, Benedetto.

Noctra, then, March third through March twenty-third, twenty-one days of the year, and the sign of the Moonstone, a pale stone that gathers light it was never given and hands it back softer, whose mood is intuitive mystery, which is a polite way of saying this dog already knows and is waiting politely for the rest of us to catch up.

Noctra is the watcher of the pack, and it runs on the watch instinct, which means the room is not company to a Noctra.

The room is a text, and it is reading between every line.

We're working with a new moon.

Moonstone is one of those crystals I always reach for, but it's really particularly good around lunar work as well, and I especially like it here for new cycles, intuition, and moving gently through change.

And do you know what? What else shall I add? What else shall I add? I'm gonna pull this one out of the air.

Lepidolite.
