Moondog

So I can't really blame anybody but myself.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to ask you about 'cause, like, you know, the, the thing with Moondog I've always heard is that you wanted to sing.

Yeah.

Was there ever a thought of when Quicksand's going of becoming, like, a, a pure singer as opposed to, like, a singing guitar player? Or is it you just felt like this is where the sound has now winded up with me playing guitar?

And, like, I'm still in it, you know what I mean? And, um, I, I can only think that that's just, like, for me, like, um, unexpected and awesome.

Yeah.

And also Hatebreed and, uh, I guess Quicksand through Moondog do share a member.

Yeah, Lookie Luke.

This week, we're diving back into Erytheme, chapter 20 of A Slanted Reflection, where Cyrus comes face-to-face with the master of the Moondogs.

Now, I've worked with my audio artist, Zoran, to infuse this chapter with more magic, more wonder, and more incredible artistry.

And along the way, we're taking a look back at the Seventh Valkyrie journey as we make our way towards Season 3.

And we'll start with inside the episode, where we rejoin Cyrus as he comes back to reality following this otherworldly storm that has arrived at the Moondog's den.

And under the attentive eye of a Moondog elder, Cyrus realizes that it wasn't a hurricane, a meteor, or the end of the world.

It was the sheer life force and power of Arathem, the leader of the Moondogs.

Now, Cyrus is brought to meet Erethium, whose very presence nearly drives him to tears, and Erethium sort of then begins to unravel Cyrus and his story.

And together they discuss, which eventually reveals new secrets about the Balguardians, and... actually revealing them that they're real beings who lived, fought, and disappeared long ago when the centuries-old Eretheme was still young.
