There was another show.

Oh, Moon Knight.

Ironheart.

Ironheart and Moon Knight, yeah.

There is the impression that if you drop this all at once, it must be shit.

Um-

And these shows were like appointment viewing.

at the time if you were following these and I remember that scene being brilliant and I'm being really intrigued by him as a villain because it set up the stakes right he's like I'm holding everything together you kill me and all hell's gonna break loose but it left enough mystery but it like set up the stakes for the phase you're like oh shit what's gonna happen here and it led into this and I think that's what makes this very frustrating is because we really get this movie and Loki season two and then no more Kangs But there is word that a variant of Kang was meant to show up in Moon Knight Series 2.

And we were meant to get multiple variants throughout the years leading to the Kang Dynasty.

And I feel like that would have set him up as an Avengers-level threat.

It's more that he is many, like there's infinite variants of him that are going to come and take out the Avengers.

And he is very strong, but Scott Lang was able to kill him.

But then Moon Knight's gonna encounter him and it's gonna be really horrible and then this character's gonna encounter him and then they're all gonna go I fought him I fought him too oh my god does that mean and then there's thousands of them to fight and it would have been a really interesting character because we had this variant of Kang which I feel like is kind of proto Kang the probably scariest one of all who probably was coming back and then we'll talk about it later but with the post-credits we were gonna see so many different interpretations of Kang and I think that was the hook that we failed to

Well, and again, it's just all talk as well, right? Like once he encounters Ant-Man, what had happened was that Janet, once she knew who he was, she kind of like blew up this main power source.

Let me go through that.

what? This is the same level as Moon Knight.

Because I actually really, really, really, really love Moon Knight.

Yeah, they skipped over the Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

They skipped over Wonder Man, WandaVision, Agatha, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, these monsters.

But they have said Loki is the one thing that the Russo Brothers apparently watched before Doomsday.

I mean, it makes sense.

I don't think it was a real script.

But even the real version of that script, I think, would have been really messy and more of a time travel story of using timelines and multiverses and the TVA And it would have been really hard for, I think, a lot of international viewers to, or American viewers too, to get how this all fits together.

It would have been like, okay, so Moon Knight is in ancient Egypt fighting Pharaoh Ramatut on the ruins of the Sphinx.

Cool.

You go watch it.

Maybe Moon Knight looks really interesting to you.

Like you go watch those things.

But I think, you know, like that's on the table.

But you have to – I can't imagine not watching WandaVision.

Right.

Right, and part of that is, like, you know, there are tiers of projects in terms of, like we've talked about before, you have Moon Knight that I don't think has any actual tie at all to the MCU that I'm aware of, other than maybe some Easter eggs.

But it literally could just not be in the MCU, and the story would not be any different.

I'll go first and get out of the way, so the MCU rewatch is continuing.

I finished Moon Knight, another series on Disney+, finished that over the weekend.

Really solid show.

I liked Oscar Isaac.

Even like She-Hulk, which feels like it's, you know, trying to be like, this is more comedy.

It still feels like the Venn diagram between that and like Moon Knight is still overlapping quite a bit.

There is a certain,

there's a certain like maturity or audience segment of like serious adult that they sort of wiggled into.
