So it's kind of linked to when I first started going regularly to comic shops.

So in the early 80s, uh late even late 70s i had by that point gotten a subscription to comics buyer's guide went to a few shows in philadelphia and you know right about then and i looked up the dates this afternoon in april of 81 dc put out madame xanadu that was their first you know direct sales only and i had that i don't know how i got that one but then marvel put out micronauts and moon knight the following year in may of 82.
