Hey, Montoya, are you a gamer? You like to read, shop? What's your thing?
27:48
Yeah, I'm a big reader.
27:51
I've been reading this book called Never Can't Hurt Me, actually by David Goggin.
27:58
I'm reading that right now.
28:00
um just a book that i've you know i've read already but i'm rereading it right now just you know help me on just my mentality just attacking the day just how i carry myself each and every day when i come to the facility man because we you know we have long days i'm there from shoot 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
28:18
So just being able to just, you know, be locked in to just grind through, you know, the season and just put my best foot forward mentally.
28:29
So I'm definitely a big reader.
29:14
Share a little bit about what that was for you.

To now all of a sudden be out there contributing a little bit, what does that kind of mean to you?
1:42
Yeah, it means everything, man.
1:43
You know, I was back at home, shoot, for 16 weeks.
1:48
And, you know, it was tough, man.
1:50
It was times where, you know, I wanted to give up and just, you know, get a regular job.
1:53
But I stayed at it.
1:55
My dad told me cream always rise to the top and just to stay faithful.

When were you teaching and doing real estate?
36:03
What about football players, though? Were you always a receiver, or were you playing other positions? Who did you idolize as a football player?
36:10
Yeah, so when I first started out playing football in high school, they had me starting out at defensive back.
36:16
And my first couple days, I had number 98 playing defensive back with a bucket helmet.
36:23
And kids were making fun of me, and I was getting cooked on the defensive side.
36:27
And I told my coach, like, hey, coach, I need to play receiver because, you know, I just feel more natural playing receiver.
36:32
So, you know, I went to watch a lot of tape and, you know, I like to model my game after Odell Beckham and then Steve Smith Sr. too, just his physicality and his routes and stuff.
36:41
So those are kind of the two route runners and two receivers that I watch a lot.
39:36
so yeah you do you do got to get get used to it what do you like to do off the field other than uh you know looking at film and stuff like that anything uh for downtime
29:54
It was a lot different than being the actual teacher.
29:57
Yeah.
29:57
Yeah, definitely.
29:58
Um, I have one story.
29:59
So one kid, um, I was actually like- Kinda like a tutor for him for, um, I think it was a math class or something, and he was talking about, like, he didn't make his basketball team, his freshman basketball team.
30:10
I'm like, you know, just giving him words of advice of like, "Man, just stay at it.
30:15
Keep working." Like, same thing that I was doing myself.
34:54
What, what advice do you have, you know, as somebody now that has gotten a second chance in the NFL and you're making the most of it, what advice do you have for those young people?
