Montevallo

Where's he going to school? I don't know.

We're looking at all the good fishing schools, you know, Lander Montevallo and Carson Newman and Campbellsville now with David Walker, the coach there.

Um, there's of course, Auburn, uh, and is, is of interest.

We, we got to see that school at the insane tournament last year and they have an amazing program.

After a renovation, however, the whereabouts of the building's red door are now unknown.

In 1908, a curfew alarm startled University of Montevallo student Condie Cunningham while she and her roommate were cooking.

As they scrambled to clean up, alcohol spilled on the stove and started a fire, which caught on Cunningham's robe.

She ran into the hallway screaming.

Cunningham's burning face allegedly appeared on her former room's door.

The school would later remove the door.

The spirit of Edmund King occasionally visits Montevallo students as well.

The building, known as King or Mansion House, previously functioned as his home, and some believe King returns on occasion to search for money he supposedly buried on the property.

A double, a doubleheader.

We played Montevallo, somebody.

Coach Bryant came to Coach Riley and said, "We need a freshman baseball coach." I'd coached baseball at Ca- at, uh, Carbon Hill and my, my Little League team, guess what the name of my Little League team was? The Indians.

[laughs]

I suppose it's still winterish in Alabama.

So, I mean, those guys, like, those guys growing up in Montevallo scoped the heck out of the Cusa.

So, probably still good with scope.

Table Rock, late April or May.

I'm not going to mention his name.

ODP back in the day, Montevallo.

I used to be waking up as my roommate was coming in.

He's listening.

So as she said, my name's Sarah Parker.

I'm from South Mississippi, but now I'm fishing for the University of Montevallo.

I came last year on the high school side of the combine.

I came with the intentions that I was not fishing in college because kind of like Bracey said, I believe that I wasn't good enough.

Coming back this year to the Combine on the college side, I got to meet with a couple of girls.

And I'm so excited about them, hoping that I can recruit them.

Maybe they'll end up at Montevallo.

But wherever they end up, that's God's plan.
