Right.

They j- uh, they was, 15 different people came in and they just [laughs] couldn't understand.

So Tommy, he was basically a great musician, but he's a guitar player, basically.

You know, I was in a group before the Ramones called Butch, no Triad, which is a three-piece, like a, kinda like a Jim Hendrix, uh, Cream type of power trio.

That's the first group I was in with Tommy.

So he was a great musician, good guitar player.

These drummers would come in and they couldn't understand, so Tommy would sit down on the drums, try to show them, you know, "Play along like this." He invented that style.

But the way Johnny knew the statistics and the way, you know, of the Yankees was amazing.
