Monster's Ball match

It's, it's a moment where you get told two days before this injury happens that you're wrestling Adam Copeland, and your entire world is just like, wow, how is, like how is this happening? Finally good things are starting to happen for me.

The call for October 3rd came together was from Scott D'Amore and I chatting, and the idea was after I debuted for me to be in a four-way Monster's Ball match, and that was the original plan.

And then somewhere within those two-week spans after I debuted, uh, creative changes.

But what's funny is I didn't find out about me and Cope, uh, working together ex- except for my wife, and my wife was at Dynamite one Wednesday and Adam came up to her saying, "Hey, it's me and your husband." And she's like, "What are you talking about?" And he explained the whole situation to her, and I had no idea yet.

Um, so like I said, I'm excited about that.

Um, the, the Tag Team Monsters Ball situation I think is really fun.

Um, so there's some, there's some exciting stuff going on here in 2008.

Yeah, we can't, and we can't forget about Mick Foley-

I wish Creed would stop moving so I can get a good screenshot of that.

Here we go.

It's The Blueprint, Matt Morgan, and The Monster Abyss, Team 3D, Broome Money Inc., and the LAX in the Monsters Ball Tag Team Championship match.

Taylor Wilde, Roxy, and Awesome Kong.

Also, Bobby Lashley faced Samoa Joe in a submission match.

Abyss faced Mick Foley in a Monster's Ball match, and Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan.

In the main event of the evening, AJ Styles retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Sting.

And that's gonna do it for us here on Fan First.

He's out.

This is funny spot in, like, a, hmm, what are they calling this one? A Monsters Ball?

No, no.

Can you imagine he just took the Monsters Ball name? [laughs]

Was it, what's it called? Monsters Mayhem, something like that?

No.

I'm just looking.

Just a couple... notes and then Bob we have some house shows to talk about as well yes we do so we have just a few things to discuss so let's just get right to it the September 25th 2008 episode of Impact featured the following matches Abyss and Matt Morgan Bob's favorite tag team defeated the Rock and Raven faction in 2 minutes 54 seconds after the match team 3D came out challenged them to a monsters ball match at Bound for Glory and Abyss just could not take that news very well he was not happy Then we saw Awesome Kong, who mysteriously did not have Raisha Syed by her side, defeat Mercedes Steele in her TNA debut.

And that is Alicia Edwards, if you are a current TNA fan.

In a minute and 46 seconds.

Wait.

Oh.

There's more teams going to join the Monsters Ball match? I might have missed that one last week because we have a qualifying match here.

Yeah, I don't remember them saying more than just the two of them.

Brother.

Team 3D against Matt Morgan on Abyss in a Monsters Ball match, but look at Abyss.

He's probably terrified.

He is.

The return of the Steel Asylum, formerly known as the Pterodome.

You have to escape to the top of the hole.

We have a Monsters Ball match.

Team 380 versus Matt Morgan and Abyss.

Well, he does it after that.

I think we're saying Monster's Ball later on to Abyss.

He kind of misses it in the same fashion and kind of hits the tailbone.

So it wouldn't be the first time.

Is this the coolest Swanton ever? I don't know, dude.

I did like the Abyss one.

Oh, the Monster's Ball one? Because that's off of a fucking stage onto like...

That was Monster's Ball, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
