So this was, this was one of the coolest stories of this week, and I can't wait for this.

Uh, there's a reunion happening, a reunion show from the original that ran from 2008 to 2014 featuring the Mayans gang with Charlie Hunnam, who was great in Monster: The Ed Gein Story.

You have Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Johnny Lewis.

It was just a terrific cast, and it looks like they're riding again on FX.

I'm very happy about that one.

I love all five of those as well.

What a killer category.

From an August 2026 article in Deadline Hollywood, we are looking at a beloved, notoriously gritty television drama that is being resurrected.

But, and this is the crucial distinction, it is not returning as a standard reboot.

This news arrives right on the heels of Hunnam receiving universal rave reviews for a completely different project.

Oh, right, the Netflix series.

Yeah, a Netflix prime drama called Monster: The Ed Gein Story.

He tackled the incredibly dark, harrowing role of the suspected serial killer, Ed Gein, and for that transformational work, he just received his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series.

... none of these are original IP?

No, what I'm actually bummed about is the fact that they finally are opening, uh, in the next year or two, the Monsters, uh, door rollercoaster that we've been asking for since the original Monsters, Inc. movie came out.

Okay.

And the fact that there isn't a Monsters 3 is really what actually pissed me off, 'cause that's what I was hoping they were gonna announce in conjunction with the rollercoaster, uh, coming online, is that they were gonna have a Monsters 3.

Since, you know, they've made five Toy Stories at this point, like why couldn't they make a third Monsters movie?

So you want, you want more franchise.

[laughs] You wanna just keep sequelizing the shit out of it.

Um, but the third movie was really a nice way to wrap up the Cars.
