Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship

Yeah, up and down for sure.

Supercross went okay.

Some good rides there, and then finished it off with a high in Supercross, and then outdoors was whirlwind.

Really good rounds, really bad rounds.

Lots of issues, DNFs, unfortunately, and then some missed rounds due to WSX prep, so...

So that's my plan.

And obviously, I'll keep racing after this week.

And we go Sunday, I'll fly straight to Australia for the first round of the AusX, or the Australia Supercross Series.

There's major European sports industries and major American sports industries.

You don't punish someone by ending their career just because they go and, say, race Supercross for the MXGP instead of for AMA.

It's a decision they made, and sure, it was the wrong one, but...

It would only help the PGA Tour by bringing them back.

But the layout is much more akin to that.

Faster, some Supercross sections, but not... overly that direction you know just some basic triples and doubles and stuff but higher speed um and you know i think that's where it's going to get interesting about how do the riders set up their motorcycles do they go because they've had supercross setups and then gone a little softer from there the first two rounds do they go back to a traditional motocross setting and go back towards the middle on stiffness from there Those are all questions that riders are going to face on Friday.

They do have settings to draw from, the prior Speedway rounds, which I think they'll look at.

But I do think the weather is going to be a consideration.

And there's just so many things that go on, such a momentum swing, injuries... what you think you know in March, April, and May can look entirely different than what matters in August and September.

And we simply don't have that in America.

We have Supercross, we have Motocross, then we have the combined points for these playoffs.

It's almost like if you start strong, you can get your way to the end of it in Supercross, and then you start over.

So...

That's another, we'll talk about this, but he's going to have another week on that Tether Husky because they canceled World Supercross.

So

it sounds like Cooper's not going to go to that.

But he has stepped up for America, and he's rode his damn heart out the last couple years, and I will respect him.

I never liked Koop at all.

And then when he won the Supercross title the last time, and they did the video with family and his girls and stuff, I was like, man, maybe he's not so much of a dick.

I mean, he still is.

We need to make the outdoor series better.

The Supercross series is already

premier.

Already the premier off-road motorcycle championship in the world, period, full stop, no discussion.

Everybody, every kid all across the world dreams of coming to win a Supercross championship.

That's cool.

That's it.

And call it a fucking day.

So yeah, anyway, we've just gone super hard.

So that's why there's been a bit of a layoff of pods.

Yeah.

You know, it's like- There's been

some Supercross like heats.

Yeah.
