Monkey Trouble

...

they were trying to just be like, "Oh, it's..." 'Cause truthfully, if you watch this, like, middle section here or early-ish section, it feels like it could very easily turn into, like, a Dunston Checks In or a Monkey Trouble-

Oh, yeah

... or-

They should.

And the movie I'm talking about is Monkey Trouble if you remember it at all.

It's where the little girl is having trouble, you know, uh, figuring out family life.

She's got a little baby brother.

But that one, that one came out of the, out of the vault for sure.

That is one of the blessings of streaming that we didn't have from, say, the, the Blockbuster era of entertainment.

Because I'd wanna say Monkey Trouble was put on DVD, but there are a lot of movies and TV shows from that era where the family friendly options never made it to DVD.

They might've been put on VHS-

But, uh, the the shot not necessarily the wiping out of the village um but uh it just sometimes some of the jokes because there were some funny parts too and just like the the silliness of the monkey bits it's hard to be serious when you have a capuchin monkey and kuba gooding jr has a an air air pistol like

anyway um I wonder, and we could look this up and find out, but also in the 90s, there's a movie that came out called Monkey Trouble, which had a kaput starring Harvey Keitel that had a capuchin monkey.

And also the capuchin monkey in Friends.

And I think there's a good chance that they were all the same monkey.

There's more than one.

Like, okay.

No, the monkey in Monkey Trouble was named Finster.

So, no, not the same.

Number two is Thora Birch.

She rose to prominence as a child star through a string of parts in films such as Paradise, Patriot Games, Hocus Pocus, Monkey Trouble, Now and Then, and Alaska.

Birch was also in TV commercials for Burger King.

California Raisins, Quaker Oats, and Vlasic Pickles.
