Monk Gyatso

It felt like the cultural aspect of his character was sort of just like, he's been the finest and it's all good.

We don't really unpack the trauma of dealing with losing everything besides seeing Monk Gyatso.

And then maybe losing Arpa for a little bit.

To have the plot bookended by him remembering his past with Monk Gyatso.

Yeah.

And like... sort of reckoning with the fact that, yes, his friends are gone, but he can start anew.

People inserted it into like Aang dying in book two.

So there you go.

We have various variations of inappropriate Spongebob laughing.

These are both... my own lists, but inspired by other players who played them to some success in some single reasonably sized tournament.

So first up, Monk Gyatso is three and a white for a 3-3 legendary human monk.

Whenever another creature you control becomes the target of a spell or ability, you may earthbend that creature.

exile it while it's exiled, its owner may cast it for two mana, two coalesce, rather than its mana cost.

So clearly the idea here is that we're going to be recasting our creatures over and over in some way.

I don't see any other way that you would get enough value out of Monk Gyatso at four mana in Mana White Dock.

So to cut to the chase here, the thing that we're trying to assemble is a way to repeatedly target creatures for free, a creature that does something meaningful when it enters the battlefield or leaves the battlefield, and cost reducers so that we can recast a creature for free and target it for free and functionally infinitely flicker the creature.

So the core part of our game is cost reducers, So we have some that reduce cost by one.
