Monivea

Are, are they 30 points worse? No, they're not, but where are the rest of the teams? Um, like their, their last few victories, 30 points, 23 points the day before.

I think it was 19 against Monivea.

Like they are huge scores.

We just talked off air beforehand.

Thanks."

Yeah, so this query is in relation to, uh, a 590-acre solar farm over, uh, in the townlands of Ballyguglin, Abbeyleix Moy and Monivea.

Um, so it's Heron Solar Limited, and they're a subsidiary of Power Capital, uh, Renewable Energy, and they're Irish developers based in Dublin, I think, um, who are developing solar farms all around the country.

But, um, yeah, large scale solar farm, uh, as with most projects of this size, there was a significant amount of community opposition, uh, and over 300 submissions were lodged, but Galway County Council refused planning permission on 11 grounds, um, last week.

In the quarterfinal, they were up against another side that were going through a hard time.

They, they got Monivea-Abbeyknockmoy in, in the game.

Prior to Monivea-Abbeyknockmoy qualifying for that quarterfinal was so in Tuam Stadium killing like they had to go down with a hamstring injury, and he wasn't available.

He was a talisman for t- Monivea-Abbeyknockmoy, and without him it was, you know, it was a bit of a, a, a tough task for Monivea-Abbeyknockmoy.

In all, they've been efficient.

They have been efficient.

And I was just talking there earlier to Helen.

We met each other in the 2007 intermediate championship final played in Monivea.

Helen excelled on the day, and Carolstown were deserving winners.

And she told me they haven't been in a championship final since '07.
