Money Williams

You just look at the players that he brought in.

You've got Money Williams, the leading scorer in the big sky for Montana last year.

This is a big-time shooter that you didn't have last year.

You did not have a go-to scorer.

You know, I'll just say for myself, putting up an episode, you're going to get more views because people are going to want to hear about this team.

That is the dedication that starts at Boston College, and thankfully they've bucked the trend of what they've done in the past, and they brought someone in that feels like a big deal.

And on Tuesday, everything that Luke Murray said, everything Money Williams and Jacob Furphy said, solidified that in my brain.

That they have the right guy right now, and that this program is in the best shape it's been in since Al Skinner.

But they did the Q&A with Luke Murray and all that good stuff.

But what did they see? What did they see that, y- you know, kinda would get you a better feel for what this team is all about? Well, first of all, I think the biggest, um, takeaway is that this is gonna be the Money Williams team.

Money Williams is the transfer guard from Montana, averaged over 20 points a game.

Uh, f- uh, four-star transfer that they brought in, and a real shooter, and he is going to stretch the floor.

He's also aggressive.

But then once he started going, once his, once he hit that rhythm, he became a whole different player.

And so that's a really big piece for him.

Um, additionally, when you're looking at this offense, so you have Money Williams, that's gonna be your centerpiece.

And usually that's like, unless you're really like a diehard, you honestly don't care.

But it did make me interested because they're sending Money Williams, which I assume they would because he's like the new star of this team.

But Jacob Furphy is going.

And this is big news because...

I think a lot of folks talked about a lot of different players going into the summer about who's going to be the next star of this team or who's going to be there to be with money Williams.

And a lot of people thought it would be Brandon Benjamin or Ernest Shelton.

Jacob Furphy came in quietly because he didn't do a whole lot with Yukon last year.

This is a kid that is going to start.

... "and that's why we're pushing forward." So I mean, that's, that's, that's a great quote from him.

And I think the other one, the other one, quote that stuck out to me was when, um, uh, I believe it was Money Williams, um, that big new recruit or transfer that we brought in here-

Mm-hmm

... was talking about Luke Murray, and he said, um, "As a hooper, you think you know it all until you come across Luke Murray." So again, that speaks to what, what we've been talking about all offseason, is that great offensive mind that Luke Murray brings in here.

They've got a bunch of guys that are going to play.

And I love hearing the competitiveness of guys like this because we talk about Money Williams or Ernest Shelton or, you know, some of these other players that they brought in.

No one talks about JB Frankel.

I think he was almost an afterthought when you were thinking of the 10 that are going to play.

Hopefully they can carry us.

This is a deep team, and if things play out well for Boston College, they could be very dangerous.

You've got the Money Williams, who, as Trevor said, was one of the more consistent players during that, and Jacob Furphy, who probably is going to start.

And Furphy is, again, another under-the-radar player, top recruit from Australia, knows Luke Murray and what he's going to expect.
