I was only up to buying a 2005 CBR 600, about five grand for a back end, 2015, and got about three laps out of a Mandela on it before I decided to highside and done a couple of backflips, cartwheels, somersaults, and that was the end of that bike.

when you see nose to tail, nose to tail, nose to tail, you're going ching, ching, ching, ching, ching, ching.

have a lot of, you know, we're blessed here.

Mandela's literally right beside us.

I think I'm 12 minutes, 12 minutes driving a car anyways from Mandela, which is handy.

Okay.

So we booked the train to, it's Sallins and Naas, where we get off to go to Mondello Park on Sunday for an event, and about two weeks ago, I got an email to say there was works on the tracks, which is fine.

It's absolutely fine.

I understand that it has to happen, and there would be a bus commuting from Portlaoise to Kildare, and then on the way back from Kildare to Portlaoise.

Okay.

We were about 25, 30 minutes delayed, and the bus, the train was waiting, so we hopped on the train.

We were late getting to Mondello Park.

Now, I did have, um, paddock access booked, um, and we only got to use, like, a half hour of that.

So there was a streak in Ireland.

No non-Irish driver had won a Mandela park for 20 something years.

And he was the first one to do it.

And nobody really minded that it was him.

Like he's drifting a Mandela this weekend on Sunday.

Like he's coming over to drift then.

He's kind of like, he was on a team with James Dean for years and forming a drift.

No, short circles, nothing like that.

One or two meet outs in Mandela.

I think last time I was out in Mandela and I ended drastically.

I was out, I bought a 2005 CBR 600.

What does it feel like to drive? You know, what kind of speeds can it reach in a controlled environment?

Yeah, well, I suppose, first of all, on the feel at the moment when, you know, we're in the middle of doing a shakedown and testing here in Mandela today, you feel every bump, every stone, every pebble coming at you because you're very low to the ground.

You're sitting nearly only 10 centimetres above the ground.

So you really feel it.
