eight hours in and the waves are getting intense like it's getting more and more intense as we're rounding the south side of Oahu and like once you go past like the south side of Oahu it's like the wind shield like the wind just starts coming from your port side so it's like it's really going down and going down and we're trying to make it to lono which is like the very tip of molokai so like oahu's here molokai's here lanai is here and maui's here we had to go from oahu to the tip of molokai and then from molokai to kanakakai kanakakai and then we decided to go straight through between lanai and molokai down to maui but like it was a disaster the four day sale was it was supposed to be a four day sale it took nine days nine days and we're on anchor bro eight hours in we find out that our vhf which is the radio used to call the coast guard is broken it's broken and

well second like inner island i've been sailing for a long time at that point but never like i didn't really know what i was doing completely so it was Yeah, his first time going inner island.

I haven't been to Molokai really, but I mean, I've been to Maui and Kauai and Oahu a lot, you know, passing through or working or just, you know, pleasure.

But I love Kauai.

If you have a chance to go to Kauai, it's really beautiful.

And then, uh, you know, there's still, it was still windy almost out statewide.

Uh, Makapuu over in the windward side, they had a gust of 52 miles an hour, and it's no wonder we had all that wind damage, not to mention all the storm surge.

From this spot, you can see Lanai, Molokai, Maui, the Big Island of Hawaii, and on a very clear day, even the island of Oahu.

Just off the coast, you can also see what is known as the Road to Tahiti, an oceanic channel that ancient Polynesian voyagers used to travel from Tahiti to Hawaii and back.

Well, this is amazing.
