Molly Knight

Joining us on AirTalk on LA is Stadium 9.3 and the LA Estab.

Coming up next hour, it's the triple play with Molly Knight and Nick Roman joining me to talk about the Dodgers on the brink of elimination in the NLCS.

Game four is this afternoon at 5 o'clock at Dodgers Stadium.

But the Dodgers at this point, of course, would have to win four consecutive games, a nearly impossible task.

The potential elimination day for the Dodgers, the game at 5 o'clock at Dodgers Stadium.

Time for the triple play to look at what's happened to the Dodgers, to the crash scene that you might say this series has become.

Molly Knight, author of the Long Game Baseball Newsletter, and Nick Roman, host of the podcast Roman on the Radio Network.

Molly, let me start with you.

He's another one where it's like an injury that who knows exactly what the injury is.

But I mean, you know, you saw Molly had this, Molly Knight had this, uh, the other day.

The Dodgers, uh, walked 18 Braves, 18 Braves in a, in a four-game series.

Uh, not one of them scored.

Nothing to be glum about when Joe and Molly talk about the joy of baseball.

Molly, we start these off all the time by talking about how incredible our guest is, and we're always right.

And Atlanta with home field advantage, arguably, the next two games in Atlanta.

And, Molly, the Dodgers had opportunities, including an inning fairly early on, two men on, nobody out, and just totally fizzled.

Yeah, they were horrible with runners in scoring position yesterday.

I believe they were 0 for 8.

And it was so hot in that stadium and so frustrating.

And Teoscar Hernandez with a very creative route trying to field that fly ball that bounced off the wall in left field leading to the triple that ultimately on the wild pitch by Bubic caused that go-ahead run to score.

It just seemed like the Dodgers had such a narrow margin for error, Molly, and then made the error essentially.

Yeah.

Okay, Molly, we have another incredible guest.

How do we keep getting such incredible guests? It's just banger after banger.

It's

I mean, I think everybody who grew up listening to him You wanted to sound like Bob Costas.

He was the best.

I actually said to Bob, I don't know what you think of this, Molly, because I feel this way.

There are so many times in life I look back and I think, oh, I should have said this.

I wish I had said that.

I think it's safe to say that it's a gigantic question mark whether he plays again, A.

And B, yes, of course the Yankees can still win it without him because you and Molly Knight and I were texting about this the other day.

Yeah.

The deal is... as a longtime connoisseur of Yankee misery.

Hi, I'm Joe Posnanski.

I'm Molly Knight.
