Hey y'all so the other day I was mindlessly scrolling Facebook as we all do in the evenings and such and I came across a reel by Molly Burke who if you're not familiar with her she is a quite talented YouTube influencer who happens to be blind and y'all in this reel she was lit.

She was not happy and honestly I completely understand and agree with all her points and So the reel that she was in that I was listening to was concerning a new movie that just came out.

It is Christopher Nolan's Odyssey.

And it's something that our community, our disabled community, has kind of been railing against for a long time.

So that's kind of bad enough, right? But this actor has gone out of his way to do interviews and essentially tell everyone how sucky of an experience it has been for him to be blind 12 hours a day.

So what they ended up doing was they made this man a set of opaque contacts to wear, which visibly make his eyes look cloudy, which as Molly Burke pointed out in her reel It's kind of a stereotype in itself.

Like we don't all have cloudy eyes.
