Mohill

We hadn't really intended on doing these sorts of episodes, but I suppose we're in the middle of the championship, we're coming up to the semi-finals, and what a better thing to talk about than only the two big matches at the weekend.

We have Mohill versus Vandermoor, and we have Fianna versus Leitrim Gales, and we have a very special guest, Evan Sweeney from Manor Hamilton, who is going to come on to us in a couple of minutes, and we're going to have a chat about those matches.

So...

Those are obviously intriguing battles, and we'll get into the finer details of those matches in due course.

So, yeah, it'll be a titanic battle.

And these know each other so well as well, the pair.

Yeah, and like similar to Mohill, as you touched on there, But I'm more adding one or two players as well, like they've got a Louis Quinn that's doing quite well for them there as well.

You know, just adding different players.

It was collected by Dee Boyd through Masterson School in Manor, Hamilton, County Leitham and is preserved in volume 197, page 213 of the school's collection.

The story concerns an event said to have taken place in Mohill, County Leitrim around 70 years before the account was recorded.

According to the story, the narrator's parents were living in lodgings in Mohill with their young son and daughter.

Staying in the same house were a brother and sister by the name of Miller.

One night, Addie Miller was gravely ill.

Where do I stand on it? I have to row in with Sean Kelly and say absolutely that integration will happen, that everybody knows that integration is well on the way, and all anybody would have to do is to go to every club around the place.

Well, all I can speak for is people in Leitrim, like, and you take Manorhamilton, you take Carrig and Shannon, Mohill, St. Joseph's out at Carrigallen.

Right around the whole area, there's huge integration, total work, all together, all times.

And, and because Mary McAleese, uh, decides to walk away from something I'm not sure she had the proper handle on in the first place, I don't think it's going to make one bit of difference.

It's not feasible.

We had a test center in Dublin closed, the Mohill test cen- center closed, and we had Minister Cannie on saying it closed because the traffic congestion was too heavy.

They couldn't get out and complete driving tests in time.

It is not feasible to say that you can do motorway driving from a test center in Barr or Tullamore.
