Mohammad Zahir Shah

It is strange.

If you look at it, they adopted the constitution of the time of the Shah, the Zahir Shah.

And like in that constitution, you can see the king is there, then the prime minister, and then the lower government.

So right now under this Amir of Taliban, he is the sole decision maker, which we'll come to it later.

And then the resistance happened.

He was kicked out.

Then Zahir Shah, his father came, and Zahir Shah slowly, he brought the education system for women.

We had the first woman to vote in the world.

And the fall of the monarchy in Libya in 1969, led to, of course, the rise of Gaddafi, another kind of unhinged Arab nationalism, and with it, of course, the consequences of what we are living with today.

And the fifth monarchy that they totally regret not standing by is the fall of His Late Majesty, Mohammad Zahir Shah of Afghanistan.

And of course, we are living, you know, with the consequences of that.

And the fact of the matter is the ultimate culprit, you know, whether it is directly or indirectly, whether with hands on or hands off approach to all of these five monarchies, you know, falling.

That's the whole issue.

We had a monarchy in Egypt that could have been saved if the U.S. stepped up and provided the necessary advice and support to King Farouk and his family and advisors, and it could have continued.

The same thing with King Idris El-Sinoussi, the same thing with King Mohammad Zahir Shah of Afghanistan, the same thing with the Shah, the same thing with, you know, of course, the problem was with King Faisal of Iraq, like his entire family was wiped out.

That's it, like, I mean, and so, but.
