But, I mean, Diawara is a backup if he can prove he can stay in the rotation the entire season.

Last season, he was in and out, and then didn't play at all in the playoffs.

So to me, that's even a question more than it is a guarantee.

Do you have a strong opinion either way on Conchar? Is he someone that you think would not just make the roster, but maybe even the rotation?

Yeah, so this one's hard for me because talent-wise – Why would you not? You know, like, why would you not want a player like this on your team? But when I look at what our needs are, it's not the position that we need, you know, like anything.

Like, we were just saying we don't have an actual backup for OG without, like, Diawara... finally like stepping in fully to the role this year you know like but that's still a question mark but we got a lot of freaking guards you know so for me if we were to get him the only way it makes sense to me is if signing him is giving us our opportunity to then move on from miles mcbride Like, if we're signing him to me, it's to then trade Deuce.

Like, that only way it makes sense.

in a way that unfortunately we don't feel that way about Dadier because he's not proven it at all.

And he's also different because he's more guard-sized, both in terms of who he can guard, than somebody like Diawara, who I think is much more forward-sized.

So it's a different body type, too, which I think is relevant.

So yeah, I don't know.

Well, you're right.

I mean, the one question people have is, is there a championship hangover? And my one question is, is this frontcourt too thin right now? When you look at, certainly you've got Karl-Anthony Towns, and you've got OG Ananobi, and you did sign Andre Drummond on a veteran minimum, and you brought back Mohamed Diawara.

Is this frontcourt thin? thin.

You have basically an open competition right now for that 14th roster spot between James Wiseman, the former top three pick in the draft, and Drew Eubanks right now.

They're going to allow these guys to compete in training camp, and they've got some good names as a result of it.

These aren't names that you're expecting to play on a consistent basis because, again, they, they re-signed Landry Shamet, Jose Alvarado, Mohamed Diawara, Andre, uh, they got Andre Drummond, Jordan Clarkson.

Like, they've, they've got some guys that they can play off the end of their bench.

But now, you add Ochai Agbaji, James Wiseman, Drew Eubanks, Bruce Brown.

I think this Knicks team is different.

I think we're already looking at a Knicks roster that, um, you know, depending on how you view it, Jordan Clarkson is either the 10th man or the 11th man, depending on what you think about Mohamed Diawara's role heading into the season.

So, like, none of these guys, uh, are, are probably gonna play when this team is fully healthy.

You're just looking for a guy that, like, okay, someone's sick, someone's out for two weeks with a pulled, you know, hammy or something.

Uh, the rest of the bench is back.

I'm expecting Diawara to be part of the rotation at least at the start of the season-
