What was your life like before you got saved?

Well, I'm born in 84, five years post-Islamic Revolution.

So I was born inside the Islamic Republic of Iran to a family that one of my uncles, two of my cousins died willingly, voluntarily in martyrdom, in jihad against the Iraqis, the war of Iran-Iraq in in Iran and our family took a lot of pride in being sacrificing their sons for the sake of Islam and being there in Iran seeing all of that during the war our generation was actually called the generation of war you know we have Gen Z and the millennials and all of that we were the generation of war we're born right in the midst of war bloodshed rockets and all that and I wanted to be pleasing to God.

I wanted to be approved by Allah.

I prayed five times a day as early as I remember, brother.

I was in the mosque, in the Quran classes, trying to learn everything I could, memorize every chapter of the Quran as much as possible because I wanted to be pleasing to God.

The more the practices of Islam, the deeper I got, the more God became distant from me.

How did you come to find out about Jesus?

What did you do in besiege? And what happened? Why did you convert to Christianity and why did you leave the country?

Sure.

Well, I had no choice to be in the situation I was.

I was born in 1984, right in the middle of the Iran-Iraq war.

And They call our generation the generation of war.

You know, we have the Alpha, the Gen Z, the Millennials.

We were the generation of war.

So my worry is if we force it this way, we force it militarily, it could lead to a Syria 2.0. That's what really terrifies me.
